Authority to Transfer Funds

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners, Banner County, Nebraska desires to have funds available for disbursement for claims to be filed.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,  that the Board of Commissioners for Banner County, Nebraska, in compliance with the 2024-2025 budget year, hereby authorizes Banner County Treasurer, Kathy Natale, to initiate the following transfers:

  1. For the purchase of radio equipment, in the amount of $51,069.91 from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), account #2580 (Radio Equipment) into General account #0100.
  2. For the purchase of weed pickup, in the amount $29,000.00 from Inheritance Tax account #2700 to Weed Pickup account #0100.
  3. For the purchase of weed pickup, in the amount of $44,000.00 from Weed Pickup account #0100 into Law Enforcement Special Fund account #2962.

Dated this 4th day of March 2025.

Moved for approval and adoption by Darnall.  Seconded by Anderson.
