One and Six - Year Road Improvement Program
WHEREAS, Section 39 - 2115 and Section 39 - 2119 of Chapter 39 of Cumulative Supplement of the Revised Statutes of the State of Nebraska, 1943, requires the submittal of a One and Six - Year Road Improvement Program, on an annual basis by all Counties, Municipalities, and Villages, and
WHEREAS, the State Highway Commission at their regular meeting on April 24, 1970 designated that a legal notice shall be published in the legal County newspaper at least one time stating the place, time, and purpose of a hearing for the One and Six - Year plans for the governing body. In addition, a copy of the legal notice shall be posted in at least three (3) places, placed in an area where it is likely to attract attention, and the news media in the area is informed that a public meeting will be held, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held at 10:00 a.m. on September 3, 2024, in the courtroom in the Banner County Courthouse, Harrisburg, Nebraska, with no objections to the proposed One and Six - year Road Improvement Program.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Banner County adopts the One and Six - Year Road Improvement Program as amended.
ADOPTED AND DATED THIS 3rd day of September 2024, in a regular meeting of the Banner County Board of Commissioners.
