Authority to Transfer Funds
WHEREAS, in proposing the 2024 - 2025 budget for the county of Banner, $50,000.00 was budgeted to be transferred to the General Fund from the Inheritance Tax Fund, and $130,650.00 was budgeted too be transferred to the Road Fund from the Inheritance Tax Fund, and
WHEREAS, the county desires to have these funds available for disbursement if claims should be filed,
THEREFORE IT SHALL BE RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners for Banner County, Nebraska, in compliance with the 2024 - 2025 year budget, hereby authorizes the transfer of $50,000.00 from the County Inheritance Tax Fund, account 2700-600-2-9900 to the County General Fund.
Moved for adoption by Anderson. Second by Lease.
